Slotted ducts are similar to simple ducts, with slots placed on them. This type of duct is mostly used in high-voltage and low-voltage electrical panels, and due to the high volume of wires placed inside, the cover must have high strength. For this reason, the covers of slotted ducts have a locking capability. The dual locking ability of the cover on the body prevents the covers from opening when a large volume of wires and cables is used inside the channels.
