Fiber Optic Cable Shooter

This shooter is capable of shooting fiber optic cables with a diameter of 14 to 25 mm into subducts with a diameter of 33 to 38 mm (COD with 4- and 5-hole subducts), regardless of the dimensions of its protective corrugated pipe.
If required by the customer, by changing or adding optional parts, it is also possible to shoot fiber optic cables into subducts with an outer diameter of 25 to 42 mm (COD with 3- and 9-hole subducts).

Types of lubricants:

• Hydraulic oil

• Engine oil

• Cable shooting lubricants (paraffin-based oil or preferably Perelube 2000, Perelube 5000 from the USA, or Gliss F from Europe)

Factors that increase shooting range:

• Higher air pressure (12 bar instead of 10 bar)

• Straighter route

• Downhill route

• Larger microducts

• Smaller and lighter fiber cables

• Shooting speed: 50 – 100 m/min

• Shooting distance: More than 2 km (with proper duct installation)

• Compressed air consumption: 10.5 bar pressure with flow rate of 12 m³/min for shooting up to 2 km

• Non-consumptive compressed air: 6 bar with flow rate of 1.6 m³/min for the cable feeder, supplied from the same compressed air line

• Fuel consumption: Gasoline (fuel tank capacity 4 liters)

• Machine weight: Maximum 150 kg (with full fuel, oil, and high-power engine)
